Audit staff accountants will primarily work with managers and partners on a variety of client engagements. Some of our industry niches include work with construction, retail, non-profits, and government entities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with our team, with the guidance and training of a mentor, new team members will:
- Gain experience in many sections of the audit process
- Work with managers and partners on a variety of client engagements from various industries
- Communicate and build relationships with both team members and clients
- Travel to client sites as an active contributor
- Review feedback with managers and partners to continue to improve your work

qualifications
Although we will teach you a lot of what you need to know, there are a few requirements you must meet.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting or another relevant field
- Master’s degree in accounting preferred
- CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Eagerness to learn
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Overall knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity in MS Office applications and accounting software systems
- Internship experience in a public accounting firm strongly preferred
- Willingness to work weekends during busy seasons

We are looking for interns to join us for the Spring and Summer 2024 seasons. This is a great opportunity for students to jump in and learn what working at an accounting firm is like. With us, you’ll work with either our Audit or Tax teams on completing projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Communicate professionally with clients under the supervision of second year staff and partners
- Demonstrate knowledge of accounting, tax, and auditing standards/theory
- Complete tax returns or assist in audit procedures as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Working towards a bachelor’s or master’s in accounting (junior year or higher)
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work at least 40 hours a week
